Mark Montagna - Head Coach

2007-08 - Coach Mark Montagna will enter his 17th season as a head coach in the DVHL. Mark has coached at mite through midget over his tenure and has spent the last 4 years at the Midget Major level where he led his 2003-04 Major team to the Atlantic Districts. Mark spent his playing years with the Wintersport Royals and ended with the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers Junior B in 1989. Coach Montagna also played Varsity hockey for Archbishop Wood from 1986 to 1989. Coach Montagna has coached many players over the years some of who have moved on to play at AAA, Prep School, and D1 as well as being selected in the NHL Entry Draft. Coach Montagna received his Advanced Level 4 Coaching Certification in 1995. |

2007-08 - Coach Jeff Montagna will enter his 9th season as a Coach in the DVHL. Jeff has coached at the Peewee, Bantam and Midget Levels over his tenure and has spent the last 4 years at the Midget Major level where he helped lead his 2003-04 Major team to the Atlantic Districts. Jeff spent his playing years with the Wintersport Royals and captained his 1993 Midget team to the US Nationals . Coach Montagna also played Varsity hockey for Archbishop Wood from 1990 to 1993. Coach Montagna received his Advanced Level 4Coaching Certification in 2000. |

Eric Tye-Head Coach -
etye@wildcatsicehockey.com 2007-08 - Coach Tye will be entering his 16th season in coaching. He is an advanced certified coach with USA Hockey and currently coaches at Council Rock North High School. This will be Coach Tye's second tour of duty with the Wildcats. Eric Spent his playing career with the Wintersport Royals and played 4 years of Varsity Hockey at Archbishop Wood. Coach Tye also played played his college hockey at Elmira College in New York state. |

2007-08 - Coach Matt Montagna will enter his 4rd season as a Head coach in the DVHL. In his first season Coach Matt led his 2004-05 Midget Minor team to the DVHL Playoffs as well advancing to the Atlantic District Playoffs this past season with the 16AA team. Coach Matt also spent 3 seasons as an assistant with the Wildcat Bantams. Matt spent his playing years on many District teams with both the Wintersport Royals and the Wildcats. Coach Matt holds the distinct honor of being the first person to both play and coach in the Wildcats Organization. Coach Montagna also played Varsity hockey for William Tennent High School from 1997 to 1999. Coach Montagna received his Advanced Level 4 Coaching Certification in 2000 and graduated from Temple University in 2002. He continues to work with young adults off the ice in our community as a High School teacher in the Souderton School District. |

2007-08
Coach DeStefano returns this season to begin his second season
with the Wildcats. He grew up in NJ, and
attended Penn State University where he played 4 yrs of Varsity
Hockey. After graduating he stayed on with the team to
serve as an assistant coach. He also coached at the popular Penn
State University hockey camp for 2 yrs.
Glenn has coached at various levels
from squirt to HS over the last 25 years,
most recently at the Wildcats Bantam
A level.

Tim Horrell, Head Coach -
tim.horrell@wildcatsicehockey.com 2007-08 Coach Horrell will begin his first season with the Wildcats in September. Tim started coaching in 1996 at the Mite level and has coached at various levels as both an assistant and head coach at the Glaciers, Warwick and Tarkin. Most recently Tim was an assistant coach on the 2006-07 Father Judge JV-B Championship team.. Tim has been playing hockey since 1976 where he played at Lincoln High School, Tim is still an active player in area Men's leagues. |

2007-08 - Coach Greenhalgh returns this year to begin his 3rd season with the Wildcats. In his first season with the Wildcats Coach Greenhalgh led his SquirtAA team to a DVHL Championship, as well as advancing to the DVHL Playoffs as the top seed this past season. |

Jim Hess - Head Coach

jhess@wildcatsicehockey.com 2007-08 Coach Hess, a native of Canada begins his 2nd season as a head coach with the Wildcats. Coach Hess has spent 8 years coaching squirts, peewee’s and bantams in Toronto, Ontario. For the past 3 years he has coached Mites in the Philadelphia area. Jim spent 13 years playing travel hockey, including Midget North Shore AA and briefly with Junior B in Montreal, Quebec. He also spent some playing time in Finland. Coach Hess's main goals are to teach the fundamentals of the game. Share the respect and passion for the game, build confidence, and help the kids believe in themselves and their teammates. |

Ken Doak - Head Coach

ken.doak@wildcatsicehockey.com 2007-08 Coach Doak comes to the Wildcats after 4 years as a head coach at the Mite Level. Ken brings a lot of enthusiasm to the club as he loves to teach and play the game of Hockey. Ken's goals are to instill teamwork and self confidence as well as having fun. Ken will be assisted this year by Charlie Pens of American Hockey Schools, Charlie is a power skating instructor who brings years of expertise in teaching the dynamics of skating and stick handling. |
